The boutique Les Caves de Taillevent Paris offers you weekly rendez-vous with wine and champagne  tastings. Come to meet and talk with the winegrowers of our regions. Entry is free and these tastings  evenings will allow you to discover or rediscover your favorite vineyards.

Jeudi Accord : Wine & asparagus

During this tasting, have fun and experiment with wine pairings around asparagus, which comes in a variety of forms.

Free entry on registration at the Caves de Taillevent, Faubourg Saint-Honoré, from 5.30pm to 7.30pm on Thursday 18 April.

Champagne Lallier tasting

Founded in 1906 in Aÿ, this champagne house is renowned for producing top-quality cuvées that showcase the region’s unique terroir. The grapes used to make their champagnes come mainly from the region’s Premiers and Grands Crus, guaranteeing consistent quality and an authentic expression of the terroir.

A tasting of champagne cuvées will take place at Les Caves de Taillevent Faubourg Saint-Honoré on Thursday 11 April from 6.00 to 8.00 pm, in the presence of the Brand Ambassador of the Maison.

Mercredi'Vin Wednesday 3 April, Domaine Clément Lavallée

Over a tasting of cuvées from the Domaine Clément Lavallée, you can chat with Clément Lavallée himself, whose Domaine, located not far from Chablis, is bursting with nuggets. Trained at Chapoutier and Château Margaux, he adopts sensible growing methods, harvesting at the optimum time to preserve the freshness of the grapes. He vinifies with precision, using gravity and minimising the use of sulphur.

Tasting on Wednesday 3 April from 6pm to 8pm, 228, rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré.

Mercredi'Vin Wednesday 21 February, Le Rocher des Violettes

A renowned Loire Valley estate run by winemaker Xavier Weisskopf, Le Rocher des Violettes stands out for its production of high-quality wines, particularly those made from Chenin Blanc. Using biodynamic methods, the estate attaches particular importance to organic farming and to taking account of the lunar and planetary cycles in the winemaking process. As a result, the vintages are renowned for their elegance, freshness and ability to age well.

Tasting on Wednesday 21 February from 6pm to 8pm, 228, rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré.

Champagne Deutz tasting

Founded in 1838 in Aÿ, Deutz Champagnes are renowned for their excellence. The House’s masters, William Deutz and Pierre-Hubert Geldermann, have established an exceptional tradition using mainly Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes. Their commitment to traditional methods, such as fermentation in stainless steel vats and prolonged ageing on the lees, contributes to the distinctive quality of their Champagnes. Among their jewels is “Amour de Deutz”, a Blanc de Blancs that stands out for its excellence.

An exceptional tasting of champagne cuvées will take place at the Caves de Taillevent Faubourg Saint-Honoré, on Thursday 15 February from 6pm to 8pm, in the presence of the House’s Brand Ambassador.

Starting on Thursday 18 January, from 4.30pm to 7.30pm, join us at 228, rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, for a tasting dedicated to truffles! *

Origine Truffe, preferred supplier to the Michelin-starred restaurant Le Taillevent**, and our sommeliers will guide you through this unique experience. Together, they will lead you through a carefully chosen selection of wines, revealing all the subtlety and depth of the truffle.

Les Coups de Coeur du Sommelier

Constance Münch

A keen synchronised swimmer and graduate of the Kedge business school in Bordeaux, Constance specialised in wine and spirits marketing.

Constance really immersed herself in this world when she landed a job as a cellar attendant in a wine cellar and bar, and continued her career by joining the sommelier team at Le Taillevent** restaurant in Paris. There she discovered the art of service and tasting, as well as the depth of the cellar and the exceptional vintages that the restaurant houses.

Out of a desire to advise novices and amateurs alike, she went on to become a sommelier-cellar at the Caves de Taillevent in Faubourg Saint-Honoré, where she never misses an opportunity to talk about Austrian Riesling, for which she has a real devotion.

Mercredi'Vin Wednesday 17 January Domaine Dubuet-Boillot

Maxime Dubuet-Boillot embodies the young generation of dynamic and passionate winegrowers. Coming from a line of farmers and the son of a winemaker, he is carrying on the family tradition and taking charge of 5 hectares of vines in Volnay, Burgundy, establishing organic practices and a greater respect for working the soil. This young talent promises a bright future, with his first cuvées of 2019 and 2020 distinguished by their harmony, elegance and easy-going character.

Tasting from 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm et Les Caves de Taillevent Faubourg Saint-Honoré. Free admission. Places limited, by registration only.

Delamain tasting

For almost 200 years, Delamain has perpetuated a singular approach to Cognac, going beyond conventional standards. The House crafts exceptional Cognacs with skill and perseverance, highlighting an essential element: time. It works meticulously and patiently, making every moment a masterpiece of creation.

An exceptional Cognac tasting will take place at the Caves de Taillevent Victor Hugo on Thursday 14 December 2023 from 7.30 to 9.30 p.m., in the presence of the House’s Brand Ambassador.

To accompany these cuvées, subtle food-cognac pairings will be suggested.

JM Rhum tasting

Rich in floral, gourmand and spicy aromas, J.M. Rhums are the ideal ingredient for delicious cocktails. From the traditional Ti’ Punch to more complex elixirs, they appeal to a large number of professionals and amateurs throughout the world.

An exceptional tasting of 3 rums will take place at the Caves de Taillevent Victor Hugo, on Wednesday 6 December 2023 from 7.30pm to 9.30pm, in the presence of the Brand Ambassador of the House.

To accompany the delicate spices of these vintages, a subtle rum and food pairing will be proposed.

Laurent Perrier tasting

Laurent Perrier, founded in 1812, has a long history of making sparkling wines. Its commitment to quality and innovation has made it one of the leading houses in the world of champagne. The estate is also renowned for its ‘Grand Siècle’ cuvée, an exceptional blend that combines the best vintages to create a champagne of rare complexity.

An exceptional tasting of champagne will take place at the Caves de Taillevent Faubourg Saint-Honoré, on Thursday 30 November from 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm, in the presence of the Brand Ambassador of the Maison.

Bollinger
tasting

Founded in 1829 in Aÿ, Bollinger is one of the world’s most illustrious champagne houses. For over two centuries, it has embodied excellence and tradition in the art of champagne-making. Renowned for its unwavering commitment to quality, Bollinger makes its cuvées using traditional craftsmanship, with an emphasis on respecting nature and preserving the terroir.

An exceptional tasting of champagne cuvées will take place at the Caves de Taillevent Faubourg Saint-Honoré on Thursday 2 November from 6pm to 8pm, in the presence of the House’s Brand Ambassador.

Mercredi'Vin Wednesday 25 October Domaine Vincent Pinard

Set in the hills around the village of Bué, 3km from Sancerre, Domaine Vincent Pinard has been passed down through more than 20 generations. Armand Pinard settled here at the beginning of the 20th century, when the estate had just 3 hectares of vines. Today, this emblematic estate of the region covers 15 hectares , perpetuating the Pinard family motto of keeping the vineyard on a “human scale”.
